This heirloom Christmas wreath features a needle felted polar bear called Nanook. Nanook wears a fetching red and white festive, ribbon ruff around his neck. Hanging over his arm is a string of silver tinsel with two vintage glass baubles and clutched in that paw is a tiny needle felted and stitched fish on a fishing line. Nanook holds high a snow topped Christmas tree in his other paw. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Nanook is approximately 18cm in height. The wreath is hung on a luxury double sided burgundy velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made roses, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, holly leaves, mistletoe, a poppy seed head as well as needle felted acorns, beech nuts and fabric buttons. Nanook is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow and above him is a small Indian bell. This enables him to swing freely like a mobile or he can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
