This heirloom Christmas wreath features a needle felted Arctic fox called Blaze. Blaze wears a beautiful soft blue wool jacket, hand stitched with gold embroidery threads. He stands on wooden skis and his legs and arms are wired to make them posable. Around Blaze's neck sits a Christmas wreath made from fabric holly leaves and fastened at the front with a tiny bell and red ribbon. Dangling from the wreath are miniature Christmas baubles and glass beads. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Blaze is approximately 21cm in height. The wreath is hung on a luxury double sided burgundy velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made roses, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, holly leaves, mistletoe, a poppy seed head as well as needle felted acorns, beech nuts and fabric covered buttons. Blaze is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow and above him is a small Indian bell. This enables him to swing freely like a mobile or he can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
