This heirloom Christmas wreath features a needle felted snow goose called Holly. Holly wears a festive red and white ribbon ruff around her slender neck. In her beak she carries a sprig of holly. Holly goose is perched elegantly on a miniature sledge which has been painted red. on the sledge is a small Christmas parcel with a tiny candy cane. At the back of the sledge is a miniature Christmas tree tied with red ribbon. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Holly is approximately 18cm in height to the bottom of the sledge. The wreath is hung on a luxury double sided burgundy velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made roses, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, holly leaves, mistletoe, a poppy seed head as well as needle felted acorns, beech nuts and fabric covered buttons. Holly is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow and above her is a small Indian bell. This enables her to swing freely like a mobile or she can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
