This heirloom Christmas wreath features a needle felted angel bunny called Nova. Nova has two wool felt, lightly padded wings which have been hand stitched and embellished with pearl coloured glass beads. Around her neck is a vintage lace ruff fixed with a pearl bead. Nova holds a needle felted wool star in her paws which has been stitched with gold embroidery thread and features a tiny silver bell. A gold glittered Christmas tree is also part of the star. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Nova is approximately 18cm in height. The wreath is hung on a luxury double sided burgundy velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made roses, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, holly leaves, mistletoe, a poppy seed head as well as needle felted acorns, beech nuts and fabric covered buttons. Nova is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow and above her is a small Indian bell. This enables her to swing freely like a mobile or she can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
