This heirloom Christmas wreath features a needle felted fox called Rusty. Rusty wears a stunning Harris tweed wrap in a red herringbone weave fixed with a wooden button, a bell and a small red ribbon. He sports a pair of deep purple hand sewn wool trews which give the effect of tweed or tartan. On his feet are a pair of black welly boots which are snow covered with white glitter. Balanced in one paw is a magnificent needle felted and hand stitched Christmas pudding on a plate. In Rusty's other paw, he clutches a small branch of mistletoe. This fox has festive romance on his mind. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Rusty is approximately 20cm in height. The wreath is hung on a luxury double sided burgundy velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made roses, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, holly leaves, mistletoe, a poppy seed head as well as needle felted acorns, beech nuts and fabric covered buttons.Rusty is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow and above him is a small Indian bell. This enables him to swing freely like a mobile or he can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
