Curled up dreaming in his bind weed encircled nest is a needle felted and hand stitched hedgehog. He is made from British wools and covered in hedgehog mohair fabric. The hedgehog is loose and can be lifted out of the nest. He is approximately 13cm in length. The hedgehog sleeps in a grapevine nest which has been embellished with lots of lichen covered twigs, hand coloured and sewn leaves, handmade bindweed flowers, toadstools, wild daisies, a lucky four leaf clover, acorn caps, pine cones, beech nuts and faux moss. There is a wet felted pebble which he rests his head on which has been stitched into with embroidery threads to give the feeling of lichen upon it. Perched on one leaf is a tiny handmade ladybird and resting on the hedgehog's prickles is a handmade felt cabbage white butterfly. Attached to the hedgehog's prickles on his back is a hand coloured, wired oak leaf. The whole piece is packed with many details and is approximately  26cm x 24cm in scale. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached to a stitched ivy leaf at the back of the nest.

Sorry, hedgehog and his nest are not a toy and unsuitable for children under the age of 12, due to possible choking hazards.
