I have an obsession with the magical foxglove! Folklore tells that if you plant them it is an invitation for fairies to enter your garden ... but they are also nectar rich magnets for bees and butterflies. This is my homage to the beautiful pink toned foxglove.

This foxglove is approximately 45cm in height and made from 100% wool felt. Each glove has been hand painted and wired which makes each one posable. The bee has been needle felted using British and merino wools and is attached to the foxglove. This piece looks lovely displayed in a bottle neck vase where the wired foxglove leaves help balance and hold the piece in place around the neck of the vase. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label fixed into one of the hand sewn leaves.

Sorry this foxglove is not a toy and unsuitable for children under 12, due to possible choking hazards.
