This heirloom Spring/Easter wreath features a needle felted badger called Bill. Bill sports an aged, yellow toned silk sari scarf around his neck and wears dirty black wellington boots on his feet. In one paw he holds a single felt daffodil and over his other arm balances a small wicker basket filled with a dainty cloth and tiny hen eggs. Bill's trousers are needle felted in an olive green wool and sewn into with embroidery threads to give a textured, tweed effect. A length of twine holds his trousers up. Over one ear he wears a cotton hat in a beige check and perched on his nose are brown rimmed wire glasses. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Bill is approximately 23cm in height. The wreath is hung on a lovely vintage yellow velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made daffodils, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, catkins, a primrose. and fabric buttons. Bill is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow. This enables him to swing freely like a mobile or he can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
Sorry, this Spring wreath is not a toy and unsuitable for children under the age of 12, due to possible choking hazards.
