This heirloom Spring/Easter wreath features a needle felted rabbit called Pippin. Pippin sports a vibrant yellow toned silk sari scarf around his neck and wears red wellington boots on his feet. In one paw he grasps a handful of needle felted carrots and in his other paw he holds a cup of clover tea. Pippin's trousers are needle felted in a duck egg blue and sewn into with embroidery threads to give a textured, tweed effect. The wreath is made of willow and is 30cm x 30cm in size. Pippin is approximately 24cm in height. The wreath is hung on a lovely vintage yellow velvet loop. The willow wreath has been embellished with hand made daffodils, hand sewn and wired ivy leaves, catkins, a primrose. and fabric buttons. Pippin is strung in the centre of the wreath by the velvet ribbon tied in a bow. This enables him to swing freely like a mobile or he can be displayed flat against a wall when hung on a hook. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label attached.
