Stride rabbit is a one of a kind collector's piece. He stands at approximately 50cm in height which makes him one of my rare sized large creatures. Stride rabbit has been needle felted throughout using British wools. He has a reinforced internal structure of wooden stakes and wire armature. His body leans into a driftwood staff which helps keep him standing upright. His lovely long ears are wired and posable as are his arms. Stride is dressed in a custom tailored outfit which includes a vintage French toile fabric waistcoat with mother of pearl button details. His wool jacket is made of a soft lime toned green Harris tweed which has been lined with a neutral linen. There is a Wild & Wool fabric label sewn into the jacket. He wears a handmade ruff around his neck with a layer of vintage French fabric and a layer of pale grey linen. Slung over his shoulder is a handmade French linen bag with red stripes and a string strap. Inside the bag is a hand stitched ivy leaf and a needle felted and stitched carrot. Attached  to his jacket lapel is a needle felted wild strawberry buttonhole with felt flower and ivy leaf. In one paw he clutches a needle felted and hand stitched radish. Grasped in his other paw is a driftwood staff. Entwined around the base of the staff are hand stitched oak leaves and needle felted acorns with real acorn caps. The leaves have been wired to make them posable. Below the oak leaves lies a rusty metal bell.
